The chip is still a leaf.

New York Naturals coats whole kale leaves and dries them below 115°F for twelve hours at Salt Road Food Hub. The same kitchen makes kale krackers from kale and whole seeds, with no grains and no starch.

A single vegan cheese kale chip, still the shape of the whole leaf, coated orange-red with pepper and cashew.

Kale krackers

Kale is the main ingredient. Golden flax, sunflower, sesame, hemp, and pumpkin seeds make the crunch. We mix them by hand and dry them below 115°F. Cheezy Dill and Sweet Chipotle both come in a 9 ounce pack.

Started on Flatbush Avenue in 2008.

New York Naturals began as a health food store on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. The kale chips sold, then showed up at Whole Foods and Union Market. They are now made at Salt Road Food Hub.
